How to apply a wolf eliminator?
The wolf eliminator, also wolftone eliminator tube, suppresses undesired notes. It is attached between tailpiece and bridge, best on the string, at which the wolf-tone is most distinctive. If it’s positioned in the upper third of the string section, the effect of the wolf eliminator mostly is the best. Through a slight move in direction of the bridge away from it, the right position on the violin string can be found.
Which wolf eliminators are there?
The wolf eliminator for violins is available as wolf eliminator nickel-plated or as wolf eliminator brass.
