Universal Rosin for Virtually All Climatic Conditions

The TI Rosin TIVC01 was designed as a universal rosin for professional and advanced cellists. Its carefully balanced formula provides consistent bow grip and dependable performance across a wide range of climatic conditions.

Whether playing in dry winter air, high humidity or changing temperatures while travelling, TI Rosin offers the ideal balance between secure grip and smooth bow movement.

Specifically Developed for the Demands of the Cello

The cello-specific formula helps unlock the full tonal potential of both modern and traditional cello strings. Especially when paired with Thomastik-Infeld cello strings, the rosin enhances resonance, tonal richness and projection while bringing out the instrument’s characteristic sound core.

TI Cello Rosin supports:

• fast and precise bow response
• a focused and powerful cello sound
• enhanced resonance of the cello strings
• greater brilliance and sound projection
• clear and controlled articulation
• the projection of warmth and tonal colour to the very back of the concert hall

Secure Grip with Smooth Bowing

The carefully developed formula provides reliable grip on the string while preserving the smoothness required for natural and flexible bowing. This allows precise, controlled bow handling with maximum expressive freedom, without compromising the openness or responsiveness of the sound.

The balanced relationship between grip and smoothness helps activate the core of the cello’s sound and promotes a resonant, powerful and richly coloured tone.

Professional Performance for the Highest Musical Standards

TI Cello Rosin supports secure bow control in a wide variety of musical situations. It enhances focus, response and brilliance, promotes clear articulation and delivers consistently reliable performance across changing climatic conditions.

The instrument-specific formula is perfectly matched to Thomastik-Infeld cello strings while also performing exceptionally well with strings from other manufacturers.

Practical Storage and Optimum Protection

The rosin is supplied in a premium magnetic metal tin and protected by a practical silicone cap against dust, dirt and damage. This makes it easy to store and transport safely in a cello case or accessory compartment.
