TI violin string D by Thomastik-Infeld

The TI violin strings from Thomastik-Infeld are absolute all-round strings of the highest quality. They combine a beautiful, warm sound with an excellent balance between the strings, and are particularly popular with orchestral and chamber musicians. TI strings bring out the tonal possibilities of your instrument. The feeling of playing with the left hand is natural and comfortable. The set also delights with an excellent bow response.

The D string is built on a synthetic string core and wound with silver. Its diameter is significantly smaller than that of the aluminum D string. It allows a somewhat quieter, warmer sound than the aluminum D string.

• synthetic core / silver wound
• with ball end
• medium tension

The alternative D-string with aluminum wound is ideal for dark-sounding instruments that require more brilliance. (Art. 169203)
