Maintenance for violin

Through the striking of the bow, dust of the rosin settles on the violin strings. To be able to remove sticking rosin and normal dust from the varnish, there are special cleaning- and maintenance products for stringed instruments, which are in addition also especially suitable for sensitive varnishes. They preserve and maintain the varnish, clear light scratches and give the violin varnish new brilliance.

Cleaning- and polishing products

For cleaning, maintenance and polisching of stringed instruments there is a great selection of products at Paganino. Aureum is the Amatio cleaning- and maintenance product. There are also products by Viol, Original Hill, Bellacura, Luthier Profi, Kolstein Set, Petz and also Pacato clean + polish is high in demand.

String cleaner for violin

The Pacato string cleaner is suitable for steel- and synthetic strings. It cleans the strings carefully and arranges for a longer play time. The Paganino cleaning-set consists of Viol polish, the Bellacura cloth and the Pirastro string cleaner. The Pacato cleaning set doesn’t only include the approved Pacato string cleaner, but also the Pacato microfiber polishing cloth and Pacato clean + polish for the cleaning of the instrument. The Pirastro string oli is very popular for the maintenance of the strings.

Polishing- and maintenance cloth for violin

For cleaning and maintenance of the violin there are polishing- and cleaning clothes by Pacato, the Bellacura polishing cloth and Bellacura microfiber cloth, as well as the Bellacura cloth which is impregnated with Bellacura cleaner liquid.

Peg soap for violin

Pegs can be turned considerably smoother, if they were treated with peg soap. Gently applied, the Pirastro peg soap, the Original Hill peg soap and the Bötel peg soap achieve good result.
