The templates are self-adhesive, but of course without adhesive - they adhere by static charge, the fingerboard remains untouched. As a result, these templates are ideal for showing beginners and their left hands the way on the fingerboard. Anyone who has doubts about the pedagogical utility of templates: even Mr. Suzuki used them - and they found themselves already in the Baroque application, they were e.g. recommended by Francesco Geminiani, Michel Corrette and Leopold Mozart.
