Maintenance for cello

For the maintenance of the cello  there are special cleaning- and care products, whereby the dust produced by rosin and regular dust can be removed. These cleaning products are especially suitable for the sensitive varnishes of the bowed stringed instruments. The care products conserve and maintain the varnish, smooth out light scratches and give the cello new brilliance.

Cleaning- and polishing products for cello

Paganino has a large selection of cleaning products and maintenance products for bowed stringed instruments. But there are also good cleaning products by Pacato, Paganino, Bellacura, Kolstein, Luthier, Original Hill, Petz and Viol.

String cleaner for cello

The string cleaner by Pacato, which is suitable for steel- and synthetic strings, cleans the strings carefully and contributes to a longer play time. The Paganino cleaning set consists of the Bellacura cloth, the Viol polisher and the Pirastro string cleaner. Next to the microfiber cloth, the Pacato cleaning set consists of the Pacato string cleaner and Pacato clean+polish. The string cleaner and the string oil by Pirastro are very recommendable.

Maintenance- and polishing cloth for cello

In order to clean and maintain the cello there are many different cleaning- and polishing cloths like the Bellacura microfiber maintenance cloth, the Bellacura polishing cloth as well as the Cremonese microfiber cloth. There are also cleaning- and polishing cloths by Pacato.

Peg soap for cello

Peg soap allows to turn the cello pegs more smoothly. Pirasro peg soap, Böthel’s peg soap or Original Hill peg soap render, gently applied, good services.
