Protos Violin - Steel strings with finest pure nickel flatwound, extremely good playability with excellent sound. These strings are ideal for both students and artists. The flat wire strings have a very smooth surface and are characterized by an easy playability and safe response.
The sound of these strings is not at all hard or "metallic", as a special string construction creates a brilliant and soft sound. With proper tuning of the entire set, the string tension is not greater than the string tension of gut or nylon strings. You therefore do not have to have no concern that with PROTOS strings instruments are too heavily loaded and eventually the instruments could be damaged.
