Cordedrago - gut strings for historical instruments

Due to the strong tensile forces, which are particularly exposed to the thinnest strings, Cordedrago has opted for the use of cattle gut. The Ritorte di Salle are strings of remarkable acoustic quality, but above all of extraordinary resilience. They also last for months on the instrument. They are made of natural gut, which is cut into strips and twirled, so based essentially on modern criteria and materials. They are particularly suitable for Baroque violin, viola, viola da gamba, as well as medieval and ethnic instruments.
