MELOS Rosin Baroque Viola & Tenor Viol offers warm, balanced and full sound qualities, without any unexpected noises or dust, in all kinds of bowing techniques. This cake is designed especially for gut strings and to efficiently deliver high and medium wave frequencies.
Each and every rosin cake is made exclusively by hand. Minor deformities are corollaries of the natural origin of the ingredients used and the handmade process, without using any kind of machinery that could potentially lower our products’ quality.

MELOS rosin has been updated to cork packaging which is an incredibly versatile and natural material. It is harvested from living cork oak-trees similar to resin harvested from pine-trees. MELOS packaging design is focused on protecting the rosin from everyday life, while drastically minimizing our environmental footprint.
