With the GM-1 from Korg, the cult company is launching an ultra-compact metronome that can be worn like conventional earphones. When using multiple devices, the sync function ensures the perfect tempo synchronization of all musicians in an orchestra, ensemble or members of a choir, for example. The earpiece is very comfortable to wear and has a firm fit, as it adapts well to the ear canal. Even in a noisy environment, the metronome signal can be heard clearly and distinctly.

The metronome is equipped with a swivel mechanism to ensure a comfortable fit for the left as well as the right ear. The clip of the GM-1 locks the unit behind the earlobe and provides a correspondingly secure hold.

A synchronization between several GM-1 devices is possible through intelligent communication via infrared. So that everyone has the same timing, all you have to do is establish a sync connection and select the same tempo settings on both devices. This even allows a spatial separation of the actors, as long as the sync and tempo settings are correct, the participants can be set relatively far apart or placed. When you restart, the settings you selected last are called up again.
