MELOS Rosin for Double Bass – Light & Dark

MELOS Bass Rosin Light grips the strings more gently than other MELOS double bass rosins, producing a silky, warm tone – without unwanted noise or excessive dust across all bowing techniques. The «Dark» version, on the other hand, offers a stronger grip and delivers a powerful, full-bodied sound.

This rosin has been specially developed to efficiently transmit high and mid frequencies and is ideal for use in warmer temperatures during spring and summer.

Handcrafted Quality

Each piece is made entirely by hand. Slight irregularities are a natural result of the raw materials used and the traditional production process – without any machine intervention that could compromise quality.

Sustainable Cork Packaging

The high-quality cork case protects the rosin in everyday use while also being environmentally friendly. Cork is sustainably harvested from living cork oak trees and offers excellent insulating and protective properties.
